Pentona II

In case someone stumbles upon this blog when searching for the camera Pentona, this first post is for them. Here are two pictures of an East German 35 mm viewfinder camera ZeissIkon Pentona II, made from 1963. And some pictures taken with the camera on AgfaPhoto 200 (Ferrania Solaris), most of the photos are from Suvisaaristo (Sommaröarna) in Espoo (Esbo), Finland. The lens on the camera is Meyer-Optik Görlitz Trioplan 45/3.5.

  1. Hey! :)
Welcome to the blogland. ;) Your photos are beautiful, as usual. I especially love the ice one, it must be amazing to see that in real life. I like how the water shines in the last photo... Just wonderful!
The background of your blog is really nice.

  2. Thanks for your comments! :) I like the ice, though when that photo was taken it wasn't wise to walk on the ice anymore, and I like the sea much more when it's warm enough for swimming. ;)
The background is taken with my mobile phone, Nokia (off course ;) ) X6 from Pirunvuori (Devil's Mountain) in Sastamala, Finland. The phone has a Zeiss lens too, Tessar 2,8/5,2.
